My Portfolio
Over the past couple of years I’ve been involved in a number of different projects. The following is an (incomplete) list of what I’ve been involved in.
Independent Development
Beta Upsilon Chi (BYX)
November 2008 – Present
Active, continuing development.
I was elected Website Chair for my chapter of Beta Upsilon Chi in November of 2008. My current term will continue through the end of the year. Right after my election, I began work on a Ruby on Rails powered dynamic website that allows brothers to log in and check their current standing with the fraternity. Brothers are currently able to see their attendance report, amount owed, whether or not their service/fundraising requirements are satisfied, a brotherhood contact directory, the fraternity calendar, and a brotherhood fileshare.

Leadership Macon, OSAN 1.0
November 2007 – March 2008
Active, Finished
I worked with Leadership Macon to develop their Online System for Applications and Nominations. With this new system, Leadership Macon digitized their paper application system. This new system saved Leadership Macon hours in time that was once spent manually entering data into Excel Spreadsheets and Access Databases. The OSAN system does an Excel export directly from its database.

Leadership Macon, Main Site
November 2007 – February 2008
Active, Finished
Leadership Macon contracted me out to redo their aging, static website with one that would be easier to maintain without significant amounts of technical expertise. I worked with the LM Directors to produce a website that was powered by WordPress. The new website has given them ability to update their website on a regular basis, with continuing information regarding their class members for each year, new board members, and newsletters.
